What do you need to bring
What gear do you need to bring along?
All standard off-roading gear: Helmet, Boots, Riding Trousers, Gloves. We highly recommend riders wear some form of knee protection (preferably knee braces but knee pads work) as this is one of the most vulnerable body parts when riding off-road. Are your knees not worth a few hundred pounds? As far as upper body protection it is down to you as a rider to decide if you would like to wear body armour.
Which bikes are well suited to the training.
We find you will gain the most enjoyment and progression of skill if you bring a motorcross/enduro bike. The training is designed for this style of bike. Trials bikes will work great on the day aswell but some of the higher speed riding will be more strenuous. We dont recommend you bring adventure bikes as dropping them can become costly and very tiring across a full day as we will challenge your slow speed balance and control greatly on the day. Contact us if you would like to bring an adventure bike/trials bike at +44 7814 866439
Should I bring tools or spares and should I fit mousses to my bike
We ask that you please bring your own tools and spares and treat it like a trail ride. A few recommended spares to carry are spare tubes (if you are running tubes/tubeless), tyre levers, a collection of common bolts, spare clutch and break levers, rear break tip, zip-ties, a rear fender (if you have a tendency to loop your bike out). We recommend you check your bike over before you arrive to make sure you turn up with a fully functioning bike.
The track is VERY FLINTY so we advise riders to have mousses or at least bring spare tubes.
Should I bring food and water
Please bring food and water for yourself. The training is quite physically demanding and it is important to stay fuelled and hydrated throughout the day!

What we cover in a days training
We have a rough structure for the day which includes: Enduro speed techniques, general riding position, cornering, ruts, clutch control, balance, front wheel lifts, wheelies, logs, hills, downhills and some small safe jumps. Participating is completely optional and we will encourage riders who we believe have the skill set to complete the obstacle but it is down to you which skills you would like to practice.
Can we alter the days program specifically for your needs?
Potentially, bring an idea of any skills that have bugged you in the past and we can try and work on fitting it into the days schedule and explaining how to do the skill correctly and the drills necessary to build up to mastering the technique. We cant promise you will go from white belt to black belt in one day but we will try!
Will we cancel a day if it is raining or is super wet?
Most likely not. We run all throughout winter and we have found over the last three years of running training that the wet days can often be the most fun and rewarding. We will contact you if we plan on cancelling a day due to torrential rain/snow.
